Julia Gavrilyuk joined Deep Valley Labs in April 2020 with a focus on Life Science and Chemistry. Her previous roles included Senior Principal Scientist at Discovery Chemistry at Abbvie South San Francisco and Head of Discovery Chemistry at Stemcentrx where she led research teams and oversaw discovery and development of linker-drugs for antibody-drug conjugates from preclinical validation to submissions of INDs. She received her B.Sc. (Kiev National Taras Shevchenko University) and PhD (University of Toronto) in Organic Chemistry and completed her interdisciplinary post-doctoral training with Prof. Carlos F. Barbas III in organic chemistry/bioconjugation and molecular biology (The Scripps Research Institute).
